Another important month of Chaturmas is Bhadrapada. We have an ancient tradition of worshiping Lord Ganesha on Bhadrapada Suddha Chaturthi. On Wednesday, 31st August 2022, Ganesh Puja will be performed across the country. Ganesh Chaturthi is known by various names. It is referred to as Vinayaki Chaturthi in Ganesha Purana. In some Puranas this date is also mentioned as Mahasiddhivinayaki Chaturthi, Varada Chaturthi or Shiva. Bhadrapada Chaturthi has unique universal significance for Ganesha devotees and worshippers. It is said that Ganesha worship, Naamsmarana and worship done on this day get early fruits.
